Attended the Experience Workshop. What a thrill! Instructions were clear and there were other members on hand to assist if needed. In the fast paced life we live in, this allowed me time to slow down and appreciate the process of creating something beautiful and yummy to take home and reluctantly devour(it was not perfect, but still too pretty to cut into).Thank you everyone at Yu Wagashi for the memorable experience.

Had a wonderful workshop with Yu Wagashi! The sensei is experienced and thoughtful. Ingredients were provided in advance and you just have to be there on time to learn. Fun experience as you can do it together with your loved one and friend and you don’t have to be skillful as their workshop is for beginners also. The workshop is definitely worth to try!

Attended a wagashi workshop with my family and it was fantastic!Kelsey, our instructor, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The wagashi was delicious, though slightly less sweetness would make it perfect. The highlight was definitely wearing kimonos and capturing memorable family photos. The atmosphere was wonderful, and Kelsey patiently guided us through the entire experience. Highly recommend!

I tried their Nerikiri Wagashi Experience Workshop; it was a great introduction to Japanese dessert making. Teacher Kelsey is a good teacher; her simple explanations and encouraging attitude made for a positive learning experience. I quite like the Christmas themed nerikiri designs; they were cute and fitting for the festive season! Highly recommended for those who want to dip their toes into Japanese dessert making or are looking for a fun experience.
