EVENTS & STORIES

Nestled within the vibrant district of Bukit Bintang in Kuala Lumpur lies a hidden gem where the essence of Japanese culture comes to life. Yù Wagashi, situated in the bustling GMBB mall, is not just a confectionery studio but a gateway to the timeless traditions of Japan.
.
We had the pleasure of hosting the dynamic team from Innity for a unique team-building event that promised to blend creativity, teamwork, and a taste of Japan’s rich cultural heritage.
.

As the team from Innity stepped into our mall, they were greeted by the serene ambiance. Our skilled instructors welcomed them with warm smiles, ready to guide them through an unforgettable journey into the world of wagashi – traditional Japanese sweets known for their delicate beauty and exquisite flavors.
.

The team eagerly put up their aprons and immersed themselves in the art of wagashi-making. From kneading soft dough to crafting intricate designs using natural food dyes, each member of the team embraced the challenge with enthusiasm and creativity. Laughter filled the air as they exchanged tips, experimented with different techniques, and marveled at each other’s creations.
.

But the experience didn’t end there. In true Japanese fashion, we treated the team from Innity to a traditional kimono session. Donning these elegant garments, they were transported to a world of grace and refinement, learning the art of tying the obi and experiencing firsthand the beauty of Japan’s iconic attire.
.

As the day unfolded, it was clear that the team from Innity was not only bonding over wagashi-making and kimono-wearing but also gaining a deeper appreciation for Japanese culture and craftsmanship. Through hands-on activities that engaged the senses and sparked creativity, they forged lasting memories and strengthened their team dynamics.
.

Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Yù Wagashi is more than just a confectionery studio – it’s a cultural hub where people can come together to celebrate tradition, innovation, and the joy of creating something beautiful. We are honored to have had the opportunity to share our passion for wagashi and kimono with the team from Innity, and we look forward to welcoming more guests to our studio for an unforgettable journey into the heart of Japan.
